Chicken egg rolls are something you hardly ever see in restaurants, as most egg rolls are made without chicken and use only vegetables. You can even be creative and mix and match fillings, making some with chicken, and perhaps some with eggs or other proteins but in this recipe, all have there. A chicken egg roll is delicious, and while it takes some patience, none of the recipe steps are difficult.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken(boneless) 250g
  •  Eggs (boiled) 2
  • Cabbage (chopped) 1 cup
  • Carrot (chopped) 1 cup
  • Spring Onion (chopped) 1 cup
  • Capsicum (chopped) 1 cup
  • Garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Red chili flakes 2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds (roasted) 2 tsp
  • Chili Sauce 2 tbsp
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Chinese salt ½ tsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Chaat masala 2 tsp
  • Roll straps as needed
  • Oil for frying as needed

Method:

Firstly, wash all the vegetables and finely chop the cabbage, carrot, spring onion, and capsicum.

Secondly, apply garlic paste, red chili flakes, roasted cumin seeds, oil, and chili sauce to the chicken and marinate it for ten minutes.

Then deep fry it in hot oil.

When its water dries up, take it out and put it in a pan, add chopped vegetables and fry it on high heat.

After that, take it out and add black pepper, Chinese salt, regular salt, chaat masala, and boiled eggs and mix.

Finally, put filling it in a roll strap, close it with a flour slurry and fry it in hot oil.

Fry till the golden color comes.

Place into a serving dish and serve with ketchup and mint yogurt.

Serve and enjoy.
