Rasmalai was my absolute favorite. Maybe because it’s so delicious or
maybe because we didn’t get to eat it that regularly compared to other
desserts. Rasmalai is a royal dessert often served at weddings and eaten on
special occasions. How to make perfectly soft ras malai at the home recipe is
below.
Ingredients:
- Milk 4 cups
- Sugar 1 cup
- Green cardamom 3-4
- Dry milk powder
1 cup
- Flour ½ tsp
- Baking powder 1 tsp
- Ghee 1 tbsp
- Egg 1 pc
- Pistachios (chopped) as needed
Method:
Firstly, add one cup of sugar and three-four cardamoms to four cups of milk and let it cook.
Sieve a cup of dry milk and add flour and baking powder to it.
Mix them all, add a spoonful of ghee and mix well with your hands.
Then add egg to them and mix it well again.
Then make small balls (ras malai) mixes of them.
Now put them in boiled milk and cook for three to four minutes.
When the milk starts to boil, stir it once.
Cook on low heat and remove when done.
Sprinkle pistachios and serve when cooled.
Serve and Enjoy.
