Ingredients:

  • All-purpose flour 1 cup
  • Ghee/Butter ½ cup
  • Icing sugar ¾ cup
  • Green cardamom powder ¼ tsp
  • Semolina 1 tbsp.
  • Gram flour 2 tbsp.
  • Milk or egg yolk as required

Method:

In a bowl, add ghee and icing sugar and mix well until smooth.

Add all dry ingredients( all-purpose flour, gram flour, semolina, and green cardamom powder).

The dough should be kneaded very softly.

Shape dough into small balls and gently press and place into a baking tray and brush with milk.

Bake for 10-12 minutes at 180 C.

When nan khatai cools down then stored in a sealed container.
