Ingredients:

  • Egg 1
  • Salt pinch
  • Milk 6tbsp
  • All-purpose flour 8tbsp
  • Baking powder 2tsp
  • Icing sugar 8tbsp
  • Cocoa powder 4tbsp
  • Oil/butter 6tbsp
  • Chocolate essence 1tsp

For Chocolate Ganache:

  • Dark chocolate 1/4cup
  • Cream 1/4cup

For Decoration:

  • Sprinkles

Method:

  • Take a bowl, add egg, and icing sugar, and mix well.
  • Also, add oil and chocolate essence.
  • In the same bowl, sieve together all dry ingredients (all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt), and mix continuously.
  • Add milk to the mixture, and mix well.
  • Grease the five-inch round baking mold with oil and use butter paper.
  • Pour batter into the baking mold and bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes at 180 C.
  • Let the cake cools down.
  • In another bowl, add dark chocolate and cream and melt in a double boiler.
  • Remove the butter paper and reduce the uneven layer of the cake. 
  • Pour the chocolate ganache on the cake when the cake cools down and decorate with sprinkles. 
  • Now the homemade chocolate cake is ready.
