Ingredients:

For Jalebi

  • All-purpose flour (Maida) 1 cup
  • Corn flour 4tbsp
  • Baking soda ¼ tsp
  • Yellow color ¼ tsp
  • Yogurt (Dahi) 4tbsp
  • Water (Pani) 150ml

For Sugar Syrup

  • Water (Pani) 75ml
  • Sugar (Cheeni) 1.5 cup
  • Lemon juice (Lemo rus) 1 tsp
  • Green cardamom (Sabz illiachi) 3-4
  • Ghee for frying

Method:

In a bowl, upload all dry components, yogurt, and water, mix nicely and make a batter & leave for 10 minutes.
In a wok, add water, sugar, lime juice, and green cardamom, and cook for 10–15 minutes.
Now put the jalebi mixture in a piping bag and make jalebi in hot ghee.
Fry it till the color is golden and crisp on each aspect. And put them into the sugar syrup.
Serve and enjoy.

URDU/HINDI RECIPE:

  • Aik baray bowl mai 1 cup maida, 4 tbsp corn flour, ¼ tsp meetha soda, ¼ tsp zarad rung, 4 tbsp yogurt, aur 150 ml panni shamil ker kay mix ker lain aur aik ameza tayar ker lain.
  • Ab aik karahai mai 75 ml panni, 1+ ½ cup cheeni, 1 tsp lemon ka ras, aur 3-4 sabaz illiachi shamil ker kay 10-15 mins kay liye paka lain.
  • Ab is jalebi kay ameza ko aik piping bag mai bharine aur garam ghee mai jalebi banatay jayn.
  • Sunheri aur khasta honay tak paka lain. Aur sath hi banay huye cheeni kay sheera mai daalty jayn.
  • Mazedar ghar ki bani hui jalebi tayar hai.
