This Lemon Biscuits treat is a cross between delicate cookies and lemon. They are arranged, with an improved taste of lemon juice, giving them a chewy consistency, rich and sweet like a chewy treat.
Ingredients:
- Ghee/Butter
½ cup
- Powdered
sugar ½ cup
- Lemon
essence ¼ tsp
- Lemon juice
2 tbsp
- Lemon zest ¼
tsp
- Yellow food
color only one drop
- All-purpose
flour 1 cup
- Baking
powder 1 tsp
Method:
Take a large bowl, add butter/ghee and powdered sugar, mix well, and make a creamy batter.
Add lemon essence, lemon juice, lemon zest, and yellow food color and mix well.
Now add and sieve all-purpose flour and baking powder, fold the mixture, knead gently and make a smooth dough.
Make some cookies, place them in a baking tray, and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
Bake for 10-12 minutes at 180 C.
When cookies cool down, transfer them into a serving dish or air-tight jar.
