Dahi Pulki is necessarily gram flour dumplings soaked in yogurt. Cool, delicate, succulent, and delightful Dahi phulki is an incredible snack. It is particularly popular throughout the mid-year season yet can be made whenever. Additionally, it is a particularly well-known dish during Ramadan and Eid celebrations.

Dahi Phulki




Ingredients:

  • Gram Flour (Besan) 1 cup
  • Yellow Lentil Powder (Mong dal) ¼ cup
  • Salt (Namak) 1tsp
  • Red Chili Powder (Lal Mirch) 1tsp
  • Baking Soda(Meetha Soda) ½ tsp
  • Cumin Seeds (Zeera) ½ tsp
  • Chat Masala ½ tsp
  • Water(Panni) as required
  • Oil(Tail) for frying 3 cup
  • Green Chutney ½ tsp

Ingredients for Sweet Yogurt

  • Yogurt (Dahi) 1cup
  • Milk (Doodh) ½ cup
  • Sugar (Cheeni)¼ cup

Method:

In a large bowl, add gram flour, yellow lentil powder, salt, red chili powder, cumin seeds, and baking soda, mix well with water as required, and leave for 10–15 minutes.

In a small bowl, put yogurt, sugar, and milk mix well and set aside.

In a wok, heat the oil, and a spoonful of batter pour into preheated oil, and deep fry tiny balls for 5 minutes.

On a serving plate, place 5–6 phulki and pour prepared yogurt, chat masala, and green chutney.

Serve and enjoy the spicy Dahi phulki recipe.

URDU RECIPE

  • Aik baray bowl mai 1 cup besan, ¼ cup pisi hui mong dal, 1tsp namak, 1 tsp lal mirch, ½ tsp zeera, ½ tsp meetha soda, ko shamil kraine aur zarorat kay mutabiq panni kay sath mix ker lain aur eik ameza tayar ker lain. Ameza ko 10-15 mins kay liye rakh dain.
  • Aik chotay bowl mai 1 cup dahi, ¼ cup cheeni, aur ½ cup doodh ko shamil kraine aur mix ker kay side py rakh dain.
  • Aik karahi mai 3 cup tail garam kraine aur 1 chamach tayar besan bhar kar garam oil mai dalty jayn jab balls tail kay oper ana shuru hojayn aur rang sunheri hojaye to inhy nikalty jayn.
  • Ab kisi bhi plate ya bowl mai phly 5-6 phulki ko joraine phir usky oper tayar kia hua dahi shamil kraine, usky bad usky oper ½ tsp chaat masala aur ½ tsp sabaz chutney daal ker paish keraine.
  • Mazedar aur chatpati dahi phulki tayar hai.
