Shahi Tukda is a rich and festive dessert made with bread, ghee, sugar, milk, and dry fruits. It is a very popular and classic dessert. To make this sweet in bona fide style, bread pieces are fried in ghee until golden brown and afterward finished off with rich rabri.

Ingredients:

  • Bread Slices(Double roti) 4-6
  • Ghee/butter (Makhan) 1.5 cup
  • Milk (Doodh) 2+ ½ cup
  • Sugar (Cheeni) 5tbsp
  • Green Cardamom (Sabaz illiachi) 2-3
  • Chopped Almonds (Katy Huye badaam) ¼ cup

Method:

Take bread slices cut into a triangle shape or whatever you want to cut the shape.

Take a wok, add ghee, and fry the bread slices till golden color comes.

Take a saucepan, add milk, sugar, green cardamom, and chopped almonds, mix well and cook until thickened.

In the serving dish, place fried bread slices as per your choice and pour prepared milk onto it.

Garnish with chopped almonds and keep in refrigerate for 1 hour.

Serve and enjoy delicious shahi tukra.

  • Sab say phly 4-6 bread slices lain unko apni marzi ki shakal mai kaat lain.
  • Ab aik karahi lain us mai 1+ ½ cup ghee ko garam keraine aur bread slices ko sunheri rang any tak fry kerty jayn.
  • Usky bad aik saucepan lain us mai 2+ ½ cup doodh, 5tbsp cheeni, 2-3 sabaz illiiachi, aur ¼ cup katy huye badaam shamil karaine aur us wakt tak pakayn jab tak gaaraha na hojaye.
  • Ab apni pasand ki koi dish ya plate lain us mai fry kiye huye bread ky tukron ko rakhty jayn aur tayar kia hua doodh us par daal dain.
  • Katy huye badaam kay sath iski sajawat keraine aur 1 ghanta kay liye fridge mai rakh dain.
  • Thanda thanda paish kraine aur mazeadar shahi tukda ko enjoy keraine.
