Ingredients:

  • Milk (Doodh) 2 cup
  • Sugar (Cheeni) 8tbsp
  • Custard powder 4tbsp
  • Powdered milk (Sookha doodh) ¼ cup
  • Orange food color (Narangi rung) ¼ tsp
  • Orange essence ¼ tsp
  • Orange juice (Sangtra rus) 4tbsp

Method:

In a wok, put milk, sugar, custard powder, powdered milk, and orange food color mix well and stir continuously.

Now add orange essence and cook for 5-10 minutes.

When the custard thickens then turn off the flame.

When the custard cools down, add orange juice and mix well.

In serving glasses, pour orange custard and place in refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.

When the custard is set garnish with desiccated coconut, orange slices, and mint leaves.

Serve chill and enjoy a yummy orange dessert.

URDU RECIPE

  • Aik karahai mai 2 cup doodh, 4 tbsp custard powder, 8 tbsp cheeni, ¼ cup khushak doodh, aur ¼ tsp narangi raung shamil keraine aur lagataar hilaty jayn.
  • Ab is custard ko halki aanch par pakayn aur us mai ¼ tsp orange essence bhi shamil ker dain aur 5-10 mins kay liye paka lain.
  • Jab custard gaarhaa honay lagy to cholha band ker dain.
  • Jab custard thanda hojaye to us mai 4 tbsp maltay ka ras shamil keraine.
  • Ab glasses mai malty kay custard ko dalty jyn aur 10-15 min kay liye fridge mai rakh dain ta kay wo set hojaye.
  • Jab custard set hojaye to usky oper giri(coconut) ka buraada ki teh laga dain aur maltay ki slices aur podina kay paton say sajawat keraine.
  • Thanda thanda mazedar orange custard tayar ha.
